Our facility employs multiple layers of security to effectively manage building access and monitor all visitors entering the center. Your safety is our top priority, ensuring a secure environment for everyone.

Secure Facility Access

  • Locked entry doors

  • Keypad and controlled-access entry systems

  • Visitor sign-in procedures

  • Front desk monitored entry

  • Door buzzer assistance system

  • Staff-supervised child release procedures

Monitoring & Supervision

  • Security cameras throughout the facility

  • Recordings accessible only to authorized agencies when required, including law enforcement, DCF, or CPS

  • Parents may schedule an appointment with the Center Director to review live monitor feeds

Highly Trained Staff

All staff members complete required state training, undergo state and federal background screenings, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Training & Requirements Include:

  • Wisconsin state background checks

  • FBI background checks

  • Adult & Pediatric First Aid certification

  • CPR certification

  • AED training

  • Mandated Reporter training

  • Abusive Head Trauma prevention training

  • Active membership in the Wisconsin Registry

  • Minimum of 15 hours of annual continuing education

Our team is trained and prepared to respond to emergencies using established safety procedures and regular practice drills.

  • Fire sprinkler system throughout the building

  • Smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide detection systems

  • Exterior exit access directly from classrooms for emergency evacuation support

  • Secured exterior doors and controlled building access

Health & Sanitation

We follow strict health and sanitation procedures to help maintain a clean, healthy environment for children and staff.

  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures

  • Handwashing protocols

  • Safe diapering and sanitation practices

  • Secure medication storage procedures

  • Illness and wellness policies
